My name is William Hauteville, son of Tancred. Due to an unfortunate accident two years ago, I am called “Iron Arms”. My Norman ancestors have displaced the Anglo Saxon nobility of England, and early in the 11th century we arrived in Southern Italy where in 1043, I became Lord of Apulia.
