The year is 1945 and my name is Rosa Francesca Mancucci. My husband, Guiseppe, and I immigrated to New York from Naples, Italy.

Shortly after, we moved to Boston to join some friends in the North End where there was a large community of Italians. There we opened our first Italian bakery and are now the proud owners of five others.
