Delia

amalgamated by Mary Hagerty Sabo

In the 1890s Delia, a proper young lady, imagined herself as having multiple personalities. With a spool as her head, she thought her chosen field as a seamstress quite appropriate. But the other parts of her body were definitely disparate. Her fancy clothes couldn’t completely hide the peasant girl underneath. At least she could dress according to her station in life and decorate herself as lovely as possible. In fact, she rather liked the distinction of being a “mysterious woman”.
